ART - The T-shirt was a big hit with my family. (lol)
Today, I made my first public outing in my original art T-shirt featuring “Lautrec.” The photo of me wearing it was taken during a Zoom call, here it is.
I coordinated it with a pearl necklace and a gold bracelet today. The bottoms were elegant wide pants with a light charcoal grey stripe.
First off, the reaction from my English teacher:
“That’s very nice! You know I think my parents have that poster at home. It seems familiar to me. It’s on the shelf outside the bathroom I think. Awesome! Even in a frame or something. Can I take a picture of it? Then I’ll send it to my brother.”
It’s funny how things connect, right? It would be hilarious if his brother sends back a photo of the same painting they have at home. (lol)
After my English lesson, I went to my parents’ house to prepare for tax filing. My mother, who just had cataract surgery, said the world looked brighter immediately after and she could see her own face clearly. (lol) She could see this T-shirt well and loved it so much that she wanted one for herself. (lol) She particularly appreciated the material of the long-sleeve T-shirt and the almost black navy color, along with the illustration of a woman wearing a red dot dress on a navy background, matching the T-shirt color perfectly.
I designed it with that in mind, so I’m glad my intention was conveyed. I plan to make one from the public domain that my mother likes as well.
My sister also loved the Lautrec T-shirt, but she mentioned, “I think the T-shirt with ‘Montagne Sainte-Victoire’ would definitely sell well. I’d want one if the real thing looks good,” referring to that Cézanne T-shirt. Hilarious. I made that T-shirt knowing my sister would absolutely love the color combination. (lol)
It’s important to create things with the perspective of “this person will definitely like it.” (lol)
