新年を迎え、高齢の父もいるので近場ですが、母の提案で久しぶりの家族旅行に来ています。温かい日差しと青空の中、中華街のゲートをくぐり、適当に少し歩いて曲がったところにある、飲茶、中華食べ放題のレストランへ。
全員で何皿食べたことでしょう？ そして、みなとみらいから更に電車で1時間のホテルにて、豪華な海鮮と特にカニがウリのディナービュッフェで、さらに多彩な味覚の旅路となりました。(笑)
旅の思い出として、中華街のお土産屋さんで私と姪たちのブレスレットを購入しました。キラキラしている私のブレスレットを見る度に、「欲しいな～」と言われていたので、プレゼントできる絶好の機会になりました。
店内は色とりどりのアクセサリーで溢れており、一人一人が自分の気に入った色のブレスレットを選ぶ時間は、まるで小さな宝探しのよう。それぞれが選んだブレスレットを早速つけて歩く、中華街からみなと未来への道。このブレスレットは、2024年新年の記憶を呼び起こすであろう小さなシンボルになりました。
みんな満足をしていて、企画したおばあちゃんはとても喜んでいましたよ ♪
私が一番華奢になるほど、みんな成長しました。(笑)２番目の姪が、「形見にする(誰の？ 笑)」と言ったほど、気に入ったようです！

First family trip of the New Year.
As we welcomed the New Year and considering my elderly father, we took a family trip nearby, a suggestion from my mother. In the warm sunshine and under the blue sky, we passed through the gates of Chinatown and wandered a bit before turning into a restaurant offering all-you-can-eat dim sum and Chinese cuisine.
How many dishes did we all eat? And then, after a further one-hour train ride from Minato Mirai, our journey of diverse flavors continued with a luxurious seafood dinner buffet at a hotel, especially featuring delicious shrimp.
As a travel memory, I bought bracelets for my nieces and myself at a souvenir shop in Chinatown. Every time they saw my sparkling bracelet, they would say, 'I want one too,' so it became the perfect opportunity to give them as gifts. The store was overflowing with colorful accessories, and the time spent choosing our favorite colored bracelets felt like a little treasure hunt. The path from Chinatown to Minato Mirai, walking with our newly worn bracelets, will be a small symbol recalling the memories of the New Year 2024. Everyone was satisfied, and our grandmother, who planned it, was very happy.
I felt the most delicate, as everyone else has grown up. (Laugh) My second niece even said she'd 'keep it as a keepsake (of whom? Laugh),' she liked it that much!"
